Reuters reported yesterday that losses on "risky subprime loans originated in 2006 may climb to 6 percent to 8 percent of the loan principal, higher than previous forecasts". It comes as no surprise that this news is a result of delinquencies and early defaults from 2006 mortgages that are higher than in previous years.
